1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using the SealDeal platform, software, and services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization or entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
SealDeal provides software tools that facilitate the authoring, management, cryptographic audit logging, and digital execution of freelance milestone contracts and legal document templates. SealDeal is a software provider and is not a law firm, escrow agent, or financial institution. SealDeal does not provide legal advice, and using our pre-formatted templates does not establish an attorney-client relationship.
3. Contract Templates
All contract templates and clauses provided by SealDeal are general-purpose informational resources and do not constitute legal advice. SealDeal is not a law firm and does not substitute for an attorney or legal counsel. Users are solely responsible for reviewing, customizing, and determining the suitability, enforceability, and compliance of any agreement within their applicable jurisdiction. For high-value, specialized, or regulated transactions, you should have a qualified local lawyer review your agreement prior to execution.
4. Electronic Signatures & Legal Recognition
SealDeal facilitates electronic signatures designed for recognition under applicable electronic transaction laws, including the United States Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN), the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), the European Union eIDAS Regulation (Simple Electronic Signatures), the UK Electronic Communications Act 2000, and Pakistan’s Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002. By signing a contract on SealDeal, you and your counterparties agree that typed or drawn digital signatures, combined with cryptographically hashed audit trails and email verification, constitute valid electronic execution.
5. User Accounts & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach. You may not register disposable or temporary email addresses or utilize automated bots to circumvent trial limits or access controls.
6. Subscription Plans & Feature Limits
SealDeal offers Free, Pro, and Team subscription tiers. Free accounts are limited to three (3) active contracts per calendar month and milestone contract types. Pro and Team subscriptions unlock additional features, including our full legal template suite and WhatsApp client sharing. Beta coupon codes provide temporary promotional access and expire in accordance with their designated terms.
7. Data Privacy & Confidentiality
We treat all contract terms, client identifiers, and payment schedules entered into SealDeal as strictly confidential. Your contract data is isolated per account and is never sold, leased, or disclosed to third parties, except as required by law. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SealDeal and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, contractual disputes between you and your clients, or scope disagreements resulting from use of our templates.
